Leon Jackson Crow, age 91, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Karen Mosely; and parents, Jim and Edith Crow. He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Katie Parker Crow, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Randy and Carlotta Crow, Gary and Sandra Crow, Harold and Cindy Crow and Darryl and Charlotte Crow; grandchildren, Shannon Crow, Kimberly Crow, Clay Edwards, Anna Van Nustrand, Rachel Crow and Jesse Crow; seven great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Irvin and Cheryl Crow; sisters-in-law, Doris Bailey, Grace Parker, Katherine Parker, and Dale Crow; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mr. Crow was born May 9, 1927 in Lawrenceville, GA. He received his education at Flowery Branch School and was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in World War II. He was a self made businessman and was owner of Old Federal Boat Storage in Flowery Branch, GA. Mr. Crow was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church in Oakwood, GA.
He was a family man and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Pirkle and Rev. Levi Skipper officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
