Mr. Charlie Leonard Adams, age 70 of Highway 17 in Martin, Ga. passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the home.
A son of the late Grover and Jewel Ballenger adams, he was born October 28, 1947 in Franklin County, Georgia, later moved to Buford, Ga. where he lived for most of his life, and in 2004 moved to Martin. Mr. Adams was a self employed welder for many years and a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Nena Fuller Adams of the home, two daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and Ricky Patterson of Lavonia, Ga. and Charline and Joe Myles of Buford, Ga., a son, Tommy Joe Adams of California, three grandsons, two brothers, Darrell Adams and Kenneth Adams both of Toccoa, and a sister and brother-in-law, Dennie and kendall Harper of Sandy Cross, Ga.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Revernd Ray Bohannon officiating.
The family will be at the home and will receive friends at Acree-Davis from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 4.
