Lana M. Pruitt Thompson

Mrs. Lana M. Pruitt Thompson, age 51, of Commerce, GA died Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Mrs. Thompson was born in Piedmont, AL to the late, Earl and Anna Lee Justice Pruitt, Sr.  Mrs. Thompson was a hair dresser, a member of The Grove, and a member of the CMA.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Thompson was also preceded in death by her sister, Vickie L. Yates.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Thomas Thompson of Commerce; daughters, Briana Reece (Ryan) and Candice Scoville (Elliot) both of Gainesville; brother, Earl Pruitt, Jr. of Piedmont, AL; sisters, Jana D. Fallon of Piedmont, AL and Dana A. Scott of LaFayette, GA; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5th at 11:00 AM from The Grove with Rev. Jeff Appling officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church Tuesday from 4-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Grove.
