Freddie Powell Long

Freddie Powell Long, age 63, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by parents, Robert O. Long and Louise O’Kelley Long. Mr. Long is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Carolyn Holmes Long, Buford, GA; sons, Brian Evan (Kayla) Long, Hoschton, GA, and Scott Thomas Long, Buford, GA; and grandchildren, Lexie Long and Cameron Long. Mr. Long was born on August 17, 1955. He was a 1973 graduate of Hart County High School, and was a chief engineer with Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis, Co. He enjoyed cars, trucks, and motorcycles. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Buford, GA with Pastor Craig Murray officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eagle Ranch, P. O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mountain, GA 30502-0500 in memory of Freddie Long.
