Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Saturday September 1, 2018 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for William Larry Waters, age 69 of Gainesville. The Rev. Bryan Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from
2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mr. Waters passed away Thursday August 30, 2018.
Mr. Waters was born in Hall County to the late William Wiley Waters and Mary Frances Dyer Waters. He served in the U.S. Army and had
worked for Charles Smithgall properties. He was a member of Redwine United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Waters.
Survivors include wife, Teresa A. Waters, sisters-in-law and spouses, Sherrie & Kerry Kuhns, Micki and Jerry Irvin, brothers-in-law and
spouses, Glenn and Cherry Abernathy, Tommy and Joann Abernathy, nieces and nephews, Missy, Angela, Jason, Rachael, BreAnna, Zachary, Christina, Andrew, Phillip, Todd, Justin, Sasha, several great nieces and nephews, very special niece and spouse, Bree and Scott Brown and grand nieces, Carolynn and Aubree.
