Sherry LaVerne Keys Adams, 49, of Cumming passed away Monday, August 27, 2018. Sherry was a loving mother, Mimi; daughter, sister, and aunt. She was known for being a fighter, especially for her children and her life. She was given many trials in life and was dealt a hard hand, but she remained positive and never gave up hope; always inspiring others to keep their faith and love in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is now singing and rejoicing, walking the Streets of Gold in Heaven.
Survivors include her children, Tonya and Shawn Suhrie of Dawsonville, Felicia and Ben Giddens of Winterville, NC, Brittany Adams of Cumming; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Elliot Suhrie; parents, Arthur and LaVerne Keys of Cumming; brother, Joel and Rita Keys of Cumming; a niece, Amanda and Stephen Ives; a nephew, Jacob Keys; and other relatives.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
