Rondald Lynn Cantrell

Rondald Lynn Cantrell, age 55 of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

Born in Habersham County, Georgia on August 1, 1963 to Barbara Jean Shuler Cantrell of Cornelia and the late James Rondald Cantrell. Mr. Cantrell was a logger by trade having worked with McAllister Tree Service and Cantrell & Son Logging. He was a care giver to his special needs nephew, Matthew Payne and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude & Blanche Wilson Cantrell and Albert “Bud” & Armer Dyer McClure.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Dustin Lynn Hogan of Clarkesville; daughters, Kayla Culberson of Tallulah Falls and Deidre York Cantrell of Cleveland; 8 grandchildren; brother, Chris Cantrell of Helen; sister, Jan Cantrell Lovell of Clarkesville; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, August 18, 2018 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
