Albert Leverett

Albert Leverett, age 70, of Lula, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.

Mr. Leverett was born on April 27, 1948 in Brockton, New York to the late Albert and Constance Loucks Leverett. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church. Mr. Leverett was retired from the United States Army with 26 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Estelle Knight Leverett, of Lula; daughter, Nicole G. Leverett, of Lula; sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence M. and Nicole Leverett, of Cumming; Matthew and Cindy Leverett, of Cumming; sisters, Bonita Mix, of Shinglehouse, PA; Lois Bennett, of Rochester, NY; brother, Jesse Leverett, of Shinglehouse, PA; six grandchildren, Lawrence Leverett, Jr., Sarah Leverett, Kloey Cooley, Hayes Cooley, Dylan Voyles, and Austin Voyles.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Charity Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with full military honors provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 17, 2018 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel.
