Reda Faye Moore Ballew

Reda Faye Moore Ballew, age 62 of Alto, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018.

Born in Demorest, Georgia on October 14, 1955 to the late Hemmon “Slim” and Mrs. Phillip Pruitt Moore. Mrs. Ballew was a member of Baldwin Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wayne Ballew; daughter, Michelle Ballew; granddaughter, Mallory Ballew; brothers, Talmadge Moore, John Alvin Moore and Phil Moore.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Phillip & Kristy Ballew of Alto; grandsons, Dennis Tyler Ballew, Nolan Ballew, Ian Ballew, Owen Ballew; sister, Mollie Sue Mote of Baldwin.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Thursday, August 16, 2018 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Matt Mote and Mr. Stephen Frady officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
