Hazel Martin Edge

Hazel Martin Edge, 80, of Braselton passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Dwayne Ryals officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on February 1, 1938 in Flowery Branch, GA she was the daughter of the late C. F. and Elnora Garner Martin. She was a homemaker and a member of Community Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Edge is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Curtis Edge and daughter, Susan Edge Smith.

Mrs. Edge is survived by her daughter and son in law Sharon and Greg West of Cumming; son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Cindy Edge of Braselton; grandchildren, Derek and Paula Odom, Britt and Kristin Hammill, Justin and Morgan Edge, Selena and Alan Morgan, Stefanie and Joey Curry, Jonathan Smith, Gary and Cindy Smith, Candace Taylor, Bruce Cronic, Adrianne and Christopher Junius, Amanda and Charley Adams; great grandchildren, Isabella, Brayden, Tyler, Oaklynn, Sarah Beth, A J, Alex, Eli James, Serenity, Emma Grace, Blake, Isaac, Alyssa, Emily, Elizabeth, Chase, Scarlette, Victoria and also sister, Juanita Smith of Hall County and son in law, Nelson Smith of Oglethorpe County.
