Dustin W. Mobley, age 17, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018.
Dustin was born in Lumpkin County. He loved bicycling, hiking, camping, and cooking at home. Dustin was a very caring person and was musically talented. He was baptized at Mountain Lake Church in Cumming and was a former member of the Boy Scouts.
Survivors include, mother, Sheila Mobley, Cleveland; father and step-mother, Chris and Karen Mobley, Whittier, NC; brothers, Damian Mobley and Ian Mobley; sister, Ava Mobley; paternal grandparents, Pierce and Pam Mobley and Carol Davis; maternal grandmother, Marylin Hembree; great- grandmothers, Wilma Mobley, Bobbie Davis, and Big Mama “Corrine” Summers; aunts, Tanya Brumbelow, Kris Taylor, Sheena Rutch, Cretia Lennon; uncles, Tommy Summers, Mark Summers, Kurt Summers, Craig Mobley; cousin, Libby Brumbelow; and numerous other family members.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2018, from the Chapel at Barrett Funeral Home. Minister Pierce Mobley will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-3 P.M. prior to the service, at the funeral home.
