Martha Ann Simmons

Ms. Martha Ann Simmons, 65, of Maysville passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Drewery Loggins officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dawsonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.

Born on October 9, 1952 in Lumpkin County, she was the daughter of the late H.P. Eller and Mamie Louise Lemley Eller.  Ms. Simmons had previously been a CNA. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Simmons is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Bove, sisters, Marie Ford, Sue Gooch, Linda Gravitt and brother, Bobby Eller.

Ms. Simmons is survived by her daughters, Mariah Houghton of Maysville, Elizabeth Ann Stone of Covington; fiancé, Richard Houghton, Jr. of Maysville; sisters, Ollie Riddle of Gainesville, Lisa Eller of Lula, Patricia Pierce of Lula, Wanda Eller of Gainesville; brother, Daniel Eller of Gainesville and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
