William Buffington

William Buffington age 74 of Commerce died Friday, August 3, 2018 at Oak View Nursing Home.  Mr. Buffington was born in Grayson to the late, Horace and Louell Buffington.  Mr. Buffington was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church and was retired from Louisiana Pacific.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Buffington was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Cantrell Buffington, daughter, Candace Minish, sons, Michael Nations and Scot Damroze.

Mr. Buffington is survived by his daughters, Christina Harper of Commerce, Melissa Buffington of Macon, and Tammie Damroze of Toccoa; sister, Joan; eight grandchildren, two nieces, and two nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 5^th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Little-ward Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Manus and Rev. Chad Rising officiating with the interment following at Ridgeway Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1-3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Charity of One’s choice.
