Anne Ray Nix

Mrs. Anne Ray Nix, age 76, of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, James A. Nix and son, Keith Alan Nix.  Mrs. Nix is survived by her children, Hazel and Tony Martin, Cleveland, GA, Bobby K. “Bo” Nix, Jefferson, GA, James Howell Nix, Flowery Branch, GA; daughter-in-law, Dana White Nix, Oakwood, GA; six grandchildren, Anita and Frank Brackenwagon, Nicholas and Lauren Gaddis, Alan Nix, Kaylee Nix, Kyle Nix, Sydney Nix; two great grandchildren, Tori Griffin and Nicholas L. Gaddis; two great great grandchildren, William Spink and Raegan Griffin; sister, Helen Nesbitt, Auburn, GA; brothers, Thomas and Joyce Ray, Royston, GA, Dale and Sandra Ray, Nicholson, GA, David and Debbie Ray, Nicholson, GA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Nix was born on June 17, 1942 in Atlanta, GA.  She received her education at Grady High School in Atlanta.  She worked at Willow Wood Nursing Home in Flowery Branch, GA, and also Georgian Art Lighting in Lawrenceville, GA.  She was a member of the Mulberry Baptist Church in Hoschton, GA.  The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, with Rev. Lamar Harrison officiating.  Interment will follow at Mulberry Baptist Church in Hoschton.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August, 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
