Mary Patricia Cook Murray

Mary Patricia Cook Murray, age 79 of Gainesville, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Toccoa, Georgia.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 2:00pm in Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Drewery Loggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm prior to the service hour.

Ms. Murray was born January 25, 1939 in Bloomfield, New Jersey to Irving Cook and Lucille Rita (Biglin) Cook. She was retired from Wal-Mart and was of the Catholic faith. Ms. Murray was preceded in death by her parents; her life partner, Ruthie Baker and her sister, Thelma Natusch.

Ms. Murray is survived by her sister, Barbara McKenzie of Gainesville; brother, Howard Cook of Asheville, NC; brother, Donald Cook of Rocky Mount, NC; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
