Mara Smith

Mara Smith, age 67, of Demorest, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Smith was born on January 3, 1951, in Whitinsville, Massachusetts, to the late Dr. Louis and Sally Gilman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael L. Smith and sister, Brenda Rodd. Mrs. Smith was a member of Fairview Presbyterian Church in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Matthew and Jennifer Smith of Mt. Airy and Louis and Angela Smith of Carnesville; grandchildren: Huck Smith, Darla Smith, Joni Smith, Ellie Smith, Evan Smith, and Charlotte Smith; and special friend, Dennis Moon of Lawrenceville.
