Paige Lanier of Cumming, GA passed away peacefully on July 18, 2018.
Paige will always be remembered for her compassion, humor, and tenacious spirit. While her actions were often behind the scenes, she cared deeply for her family and close friends, lifting each member up in prayer and lending a hand when needed.
John 1:5 states, “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” Like that of a lighthouse, this verse reminds Christians of our responsibility to be a light to others and provides a reminder that no matter what trials and difficulties occur, darkness will not dominate. Paige’s faith in God and love toward others made her a strong light in this world, never succumbing to the darkness no matter how difficult the trial. Paige’s kindness and compassion serve as an example to be followed and her actions, both seen and unseen, will be remembered in love.
Paige is lovingly remembered by daughters Kacey Lanier of Cumming, GA; Chelsea (Alex) Workman of Tallahassee, FL; and grandsons Keegan & Oliver Workman. She is also survived by parents Jerry and Mary Ruth Miller of Buford, GA; sister Lori (Michael) Farrell of Buford, GA and brother Greg (Nancy) Miller of Flowery Branch, GA. Paige will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
A Celebration of Paige’s life will be held at 2:00pm (EST) on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Buford, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paige’s honor to Steve and Nikki Simpson with Mission Aviation Fellowship (www.maf.org/simpson) or to Rejoice Marriage Ministries (www.rejoiceministries.org).
