Bill Hogsed

Bill Hogsed, age 64 of Cornelia, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018.

Born in Habersham County on September 13, 1953, he was the son of the late Walter and Merlene Mullenix Hogsed. Mr. Hogsed was the owner and operator of The Home Place and was a supporter of the Joel Osteen ministry.  He made leather wallets and leather belts and enjoyed NASCAR and trips to the beach.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are wife, Carol Gerrin Hogsed of Cornelia; step son, Jonathon Frankum of Alto; step daughter, Rebecca “Allyn” Frankum of Homer; grandchildren, Natalie Frankum, Camden Frankum, Callie Frankum and Blythe Rider; sister, Brenda Garcia of Cornelia; nephews, Brad Moore of Cornelia and Sean Moore of Demorest.
