Mary Lee Garner

Mary Lee Garner, age 74 of Buford, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday July 21, 2018 at the Memorial Park Braselton Event Center; the Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the celebration from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Memorial Park Braselton Event Center.

Mrs. Garner was born February 25, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Ruel and Evelyn Hightower. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Floyd Garner, Sr., and her parents.

Mrs. Garner was known as a domestic goddess who graduated from Druid Hills High School and Emory at Oxford. She was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority and her grandchildren were her world.  She was married to her husband, William Floyd Garner, Sr., for thirty-two years.                                           

Mrs. Garner is survived by her daughters Angie Gaskins of Buford, Amy McKeon and her husband Tim of Buford; her son Floyd Garner and his wife Rhonda of Locust Grove; sister Jane Baskins and her husband Harold; her sister-in-law Gail Schroeder and her husband Bobby; grandchildren Matthew Garner, Austin Gaskins, Brooke Gaskins, Clayton Garner, Garner McKeon, Garrett McKeon, Ava Garner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.                                                                         .
