Waymon Fields

Waymon Fields, 79, of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Gold City Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Dahlonega. Rev. Tony Lovell will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, July 14th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on March 28, 1939 in Dahlonega, Mr. Fields was the son of the late William and Carrie Burnett Fields. He was a retired carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fields is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette James Fields.

Mr. Fields is survived by his daughter and son in law, Wanda and Billy Gee of Lula- step son and wife, Tony and Debbie Lovell of Oakwood; step daughter and husband, Sharon and Charles Rich of Demorest; step son, David Lovell, step daughter, Sheila Smith of Gainesville; brother, Eugene Fields of Cleveland; 4 grandchildren Michael, Bryan, Ryan and Tyler Gee; 10 great grandchildren and other relatives.
