Whitney Igarashi, 37, of Buford passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 following a sudden illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Nick Dalton will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Whitney was born September 13, 1980 in Gainesville, GA to Larry and Brenda Gee. She was a homemaker and a member of The Jefferson Church. Whitney was an amazing wife of 18 years to Scott.
She was mother, sister, Nit-Nit and friend to all. She kept everyone laughing with her sense of humor and with the love of her cooking. She would brighten up a room with her bright eyes and beautiful smile. She was always willing to help no matter the challenge. She will be greatly missed and we know we will see her again.
Whitney is preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Gee; her brother in law, Bryan Pendley and mother in law, Wanda Igarashi.
Whitney is survived by her husband, Scott Igarashi of Buford; sons, Parker Igarashi, Cooper Igarashi, Caden Igarashi all of Buford; father, Larry Gee of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Kimberly and Wes Smith of Braselton; sister, Shelley Pendley of Flowery Branch; sister, Amy Broome of Lula; nieces, Camille and Chloe Smith, Meagan Sims, Mahaley Pendley, Savannah and Sarah Buice; nephew, Carson Pendley and other relatives.
