Judy Elaine Mitchell

Judy Elaine Mitchell, age 49, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018.  She is survived by children, Katie Mitchell and fiancé, Nicholas Remington, Buford, GA, and Jessica and Douglas Dassow, Dacula, GA; parents, Rev. Quinton and Betty Waycaster, Winder, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Janie Pettit, Sugar Hill; GA, Jody and Mike Nelson, Mexico Beach, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Kim Waycaster, Winder, GA; partner, Patrick Foss, Buford, GA; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mrs. Mitchell was born on August 4, 1968 in Gainesville, GA. She was a 1986 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, and was employed with Peoples Bank and Trust for the past twenty-nine years. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church in Buford.  A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA with Rev. Winfred Martin officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 8 from 2:00 p.m. until time for the service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Planned PEThood of GA, 2860 Buford Hwy, Duluth, GA 30096 or to Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, https://tnbcfoundation.org/donate-2016/ in memory of Judy Mitchell.
