Betty Ann Ellis

Betty Ann Ellis, age 68, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Camp. Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Timothy Ellis, Buford, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Diana Smith, Cumming, GA, Shane and Amy Smith, Mt. Rainier, MD, Chad and Misti Ellis, Marietta, GA; daughter, Tonya Ellis, Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Junior, Kevin, Torri, Christopher, Alex, Sydney, Mary, McRae, Steven, Isaiah; brother, Joey Ward, Hinesville, GA; brother-in-law, Eddie Ellis and wife, Diane; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Ellis was born on November 14, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. She was a 1968 graduate of Berkmar High School in Lilburn, GA, and was retired from S.O.S. in accounts receivable. Mrs. Ellis was a member of New Prospect United Methodist Church in Buford. “She was a feisty and fun-loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be missed greatly.” Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Crumley officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, July 6 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Prospect United Methodist Church, 2018 Buford Dam Rd, Buford, GA 30518 or to the American Liver Foundation  in memory of Betty Ellis.
