Born Feb 1, 1922 to Hub and Artie Anderson, she has enjoyed a full life of loving her family, making new friends and serving Jesus. Sue attended the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School where she worked her way through college as a housekeeper and cook. While there, according to Daddy Jay, she won "The Most Beautiful Girl in College" pageant. Employed during WWII by Bell Aircraft, Sue was an inspector of the planes that secured our victory. Because of her attention to details, she later worked 33 years and retired as a payroll manager with Sears & Roebuck in Atlanta.
Growing up in a Christian family, Sue gave her life to Jesus while a member of Wahoo Baptist Church. Through the years, she has served as a short-term missionary, Sunday School teacher, VBS director, church planter, soul-winner, WMS director for the GA conference of the Wesleyan Church, caregiver, led numerous Bible studies and was a regular attender of Union Point Campground and Indian Springs Holiness Campground. Despite all of her church involvement, her favorite memory was that her children were involved in Campus Crusade for Christ and brought countless young people home and to the lake house where they could see the love of Christ in action. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church.
