Ruby L. Waters

Ruby L. Waters, age 97 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Gateway Health and Rehab in Cleveland following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Reverend Robert Nix officiating. Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Waters was born August 30, 1920 in Gainesville, Georgia to Robert Baker and Miami Couch Baker. She was a homemaker and a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2. Mrs. Waters was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Johnnie Randolph Waters and her son, Charles A. Waters.

Mrs. Waters is survived by her son, Ricky N. Waters of Gainesville and her daughter, Charlotte Waters Stinson of McKinney, TX.
