Harold Dean Tumlin

Mr. Harold Dean Tumlin, age 79, of Braselton passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Winder Health Care, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery.  Rev. Joe Hardy, Rev. Harold Pettyjohn and Billy Palmer will officiate.  The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 5, 2018 and Friday, July 6, 2018 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Tumlin was born April 20, 1939 to the late Lewis & Martha Tumlin in Gainesville.  He was a Truck Driver for Palmer Trucking and of the Baptist Faith.  He enjoyed working on and driving his truck. 

Mr. Tumlin is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, Matt & Susie Tumlin of Gainesville; sons, Bobby Tumlin of Gainesville and Mason Tumlin of Bishop; daughter & son-in-law, Dena & Lynn Collins of Braselton; daughter & fiancé, Nichole Tumlin and Alex Gooch of Cornelia; grandchildren, Shawn Tumlin, Krystal Tumlin, and Isabella Tumlin; great-grandchildren, Cade Tumlin, Shannen Tumlin and Easton Tumlin; several nieces & nephews; and close friend, Billy Palmer.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Donia Bell Bales, Myrtle Fox and Janice Ingram.
