Mr. Charles Thomas Morgan, age 82, of 477 S. Yow Mill Road, Toccoa passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his residence.
A son of the late Tom G. and Millie Sloan Morgan, he was born February 22, 1936 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was the Owner and Operator of Morgan Superette in Martin and owned and operated a mobile home park. He was a Member of Martin Baptist Church for over 50 years where he served as a Deacon, Choir Member, Trustee and Boys Sunday School Teacher. He was a member of Martin Lions Club and a volunteer for the Martin Fire Department.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Pauline Bolmon Morgan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Roy Neal of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Peggy and J.R. Whitfield of Watkinsville, Georgia and Sherri and Mike Tucker of Charleston, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Adam Brady, Andy Brady, Stephanie Chapman, Barrett Neal, Morgan Tucker and Emily Tucker; six great-grandchildren; sister, Katherine McFarlin of Carnesville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Martin Baptist Church with The Reverend Roddy Turner officiating.
The family will be at the home on Yow Mill Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be made by visiting the website at www.acree-davisfh.com.

The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers, Don McDaniel, James Pless, Max Freeman, Charles Jordan, Jimmy Shore, David Mitchell, Memp Allen, Brian Harrison, Mitchel Hampton, David Mitchell, Claude Childs and Bruce Thomas.
Interment will follow in the Martin City Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Charles Thomas Morgan.
