Robert Max Garmon

Mr. Robert Max Garmon, age 82, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Remington House, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Ron Guess will officiate.  The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Garmon was born May 24, 1936.  He was a member of Resthaven Baptist Church in Buford and served in the United States Marine Corp. 

Mr. Garmon is survived by his wife, Sharon Garmon; daughters & sons-in-law, Sue& Anthony Norton of Conyers, Robin & Eddie Lindsey of Walnut Grove, and Michele & Tim Ingram of Conyers; daughter, Kim Ayers of Oxford; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister & brother-in-law, Linda & Norman Campbell of Beaufort, South Carolina; sister Patsy Andrews of Norcross; several nieces & nephews; and step-son & wife, Kevin & Shirley Kersey of Decatur.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Peavy.
