Frances Bell Hay, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away Monday, June 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, Ernest E. Hay, Sr. Mrs. Hay is survived by children, Linda and Stacey Nelson, Loganville, GA, Debbie Cole, Garberville, CA, Elaine and Terry Marlette, Buford, GA, Ernest, Jr and Lisa Hay, Loganville, GA; ten grandchildren, Amber Nelson, Heather Nelson, Andrea and Josh Hardgon, Zachary L. Cole, Emily and Stuart Smith, Adrienne and Stuart Hinton, Audrey Marlette, Ashley and Keith Brown, Katie and Jon McCormack, and Christopher Hay; ten great grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Deryl Ingram, Cumming, GA; sisters-in-law, Maggie Bell, Eatonton and Mildred Hay, Covington; brother-in-law, Willie Austin, Loganville; and special friend, Betty Marlette. Mrs. Hay was born on January 10, 1929 in Lithonia, GA. She was a homemaker, and she worked at Chick-fil-A at the Mall of GA for ten years. Mrs. Hay was a member of North Metro First Baptist Church and she was also a longtime member of Avondale Church of God. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Dr. Frank Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hill Memorial Gardens, in Tucker, GA.The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at the funeral home.
