Kenneth Lyerly, Jr.

Kenneth Lyerly, Jr. age 67, died June 16, 2018. 

He was born on August 23, 1950 in Johnsonville, SC, son of Kenneth Lyerly, Sr. and Rebe Gaskins Lyerly.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Carol Lyerly of Cumming and sons, Kenneth “Abe” Lyerly, III, and Katlyn Lyerly of Cumming, Garth and Hailey Lyerly of Alpharetta, Philip and Krystle Lyerly of Cumming and Colin Lyerly of Cumming.

Additionally, he is survived by his sisters Shirley and Jabe Hardee of Wilmington, NC, Rena and Leon Finley of Lewisburg, TN and sister-in-law Laura and Scott Russell of Fort Lawn, SC.

Kenneth is also survived by his grandchildren Kenneth “Kent “ Lyerly, IV, Dylan Lyerly, Reid Lyerly, Avery Lyerly, Kate Lyerly, Caroline Lyerly, Landon Vaughn and Bowen Vaughan.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services will be Tuesday June 19th at 2pm in The McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 11 am to service time on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children of Greenville, SC.
