Nancy Maranda Braselton

Nancy Maranda Braselton, 71, of Oakwood passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, June 18th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on September 9, 1946 in Lawrenceville, Georgia she was the daughter of the late Clyde Cronic, Jr. and the late Bess Simpson Cronic. Mrs. Braselton was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Gib Cronic.

Mrs. Braselton is survived by her son, David Braselton of Flowery Branch; grandsons, Dylan Braselton of Gainesville, Mason Braselton of Flowery Branch and a number of nieces, nephews and other family.
