Danny Duward Smallwood

Mr. Danny Duward Smallwood age 69 of Gainesville passed away on Thursday June 14, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday June 18, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Dewberry Baptist Church #2 with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Reverend Gary Wilson and Reverend Jim Ellis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 16, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Danny was born on June 24, 1948 in Gainesville, Georgia to Howell Smallwood and Aretta “Brownie” Ingram Smallwood. He worked for Prime Equipment in the Sales Department and was a member of Dewberry Baptist Church #2. Danny also served in the United States Army. Mr. Smallwood is preceded in death by his mother.

Danny is survived by his wife, Karen L. Smallwood of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Kelli and Mack Forrester of Gainesville, daughter, Dana Rockwell of Gainesville, brother, Marty Smallwood of Gainesville, brother, Tommy Smallwood of Gainesville, father, Howell Smallwood of Gainesville, grandchildren, Chancey Forrester, Troy Forrester, Jaxon Rockwell, Mackenna Forrester, and Jordyn Rockwell, and great grandchild, Kayden Grace Forrester.
