Fredrick Raymond Richards

Councilman Fredrick Raymond Richards, age 70, of Flowery Branch passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 14, 2018.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Flowery Branch City Hall.

Councilman Richards was born September 7, 1947 to the late Raymond & Helen Richards in Highland Park, Illinois.  He was a councilman for the City of Flowery Branch for 7 years, Treasurer for the Madison Creek Home Owners Association for 11 years and was a member of the Lake Lanier Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Councilman Richards was a retired Sales Rep for Canada Dry and previous to that he was a self-employed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser.  He was of the Catholic Faith.

Councilman Richards is survived by his wife of 49 years, Hinda Richards of Flowery Branch; son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Sarah Richards of Atlanta;  and grandsons, Evan Richards and Adam Richards.
