Charlene Lee Davis Griffin

Mrs. Charlene Lee Davis Griffin, age 75, of Martin, GA died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at her residence.  Mrs. Griffin was born in Washington, DC to the late Ben and Leighta Jim Herdon Bishop.  She was a member of Dry Pond United Methodist Church and was retired from Harry Norman Real Estate.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Griffin.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by her son, Kevin Griffin of Hartwell; daughters, Londa Gillispie of Winder, Tracy Griffin of Commerce, and Melissa Allbright of Martin; sister, Johnnette Chasteen of Ashville, NC; nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, June 16 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Lance and Mr. Kevin Griffin officiating.  Interment will follow in Dry Pond United Methodist Church.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
