David Friedrichs

David Friedrichs, age 80 of Clayton, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.

Born in Vashon Island, Washington on April 30, 1938 to the late Elmer and Beulah Winafred Blaker Friedrichs. Mr. Friedrichs proudly served his county in the United States Army. He was a retired state trooper with the state of Alaska. Mr. Friedrichs enjoyed writing articles monthly for the Clayton Tribune and was a member of Clayton Baptist Church. He was a good friend to all who met him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Marie McDaniel Friedrichs; children, Shawn Friedrichs, Steven Friedrichs and Susie Savadra; brother, Dennis Friedrichs.

Surviving are his step daughter & son-in-law, Robin & James Roberts of Clayton; step son, William Miller of Clayton; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Habersham crematory of Cornelia, Georgia (678/617-2210) is in charge of arrangements.
