Infant Carlton James Oakes, 6 Months, passed away on Monday June 04, 2018.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend James Kanaday and Reverend Lamar Lee will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday June 14, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Infant Oakes was born on November 16, 2017 in Gainesville, Georgia to Carlton James Mathis and Amanda Oakes.

Infant Carlton is survived by his father, Carlton James Mathis of Gainesville, mother, Amanda Oakes of Gainesville, sister, Adriana Plummer of Murrayville, grand-parents, Chris and Kim Mathis of Gainesville, grand-father, Michael Miller of Gainesville, aunt, Lacy Mathis of Gainesville, great-grandmother, Marie Davis of Murrayville, aunt and uncle, Renee and Tim Sullens of Murrayville, grand-mother, Carol Davis of Murrayville, great-grandparents, James and Pat Cleveland of Thomaston, Georgia, and a number of cousins, aunts, uncles and other family members.
