Anthony “Tony” Echols let go of this world on Saturday June 2nd and told the Angels, “I’ll go with you “. His Mom and Dad were there to meet him at the gate. He just celebrated his 60th birthday in December. Tony was well traveled, and enjoyed many family parties. His disability did not hold him back from enjoying life. He loved being a Lumpkin Hero team player. He didn’t run the bases but he would walk in style. A special thanks to all the people who loved him and who helped care for him. You made his life so wonderful. In Tony’s world it’s always 4 o’clock, he always had two dollars, and will be 25 years old forever. We were privileged to have him in our lives. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please support the Lumpkin Heroes team. There will be a balloon release at the hero field on Sunday June 10th at 3:00 pm.
