Melvin Locke, III

Melvin Locke, III, 51 of Gainesville passed away in Monday, May 28, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on August 24, 1966 in Winder, GA., he was the son of the late Melvin Locke II and the late Frances Bryant Locke. Mr. Locke was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Locke is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Dean.

Mr. Locke is survived by his son, Ryan (Meagan) Locke of Flowery Branch; brothers, Grady Carlisle of Temple, GA, Lawrence Locke of Gainesville; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Cecil Dorsey.
