Charlotte Beverly Crunkleton Mulkey

Mrs. Charlotte Beverly Crunkleton Mulkey, age 70 of Watson Street in Toccoa passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

A daughter of Mrs. Constance Chadwick Crunkleton and the late William Franklin Crunkleton she was born November 10, 1947 in Rabun County, Georgia and lived for the majority of her life in Stephens County. She graduated from Toccoa High School in 1966 and retired from Milliken & Company with over thirty years of service. She worked at Milliken as a training instructor. Mrs. Mulkey was happily married to her husband, Henry, for fifty-one years. Also, she attended Tates Creek Baptist Church and had a special love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Brad Crunkleton, and by a sister, Terry Rudeseal.

Mrs. Mulkey is survived by her husband, Henry Lusk Mulkey of the home, her mother, Constance Chadwick Crunkleton, a daughter and son-in-law, Misty Mulkey Hawks and Tim Hawks of Toccoa, a son and daughter and son-in-law, Mark Henry Mulkey and Sissy Mulkey of Demorest, Ga., five grandchildren, Mason Long, Cooper Long, Catlin Long, Bryan Mulkey and wife Brenna Mulkey, and Zach Mulkey and wife Ashley Mulkey, two great grandchildren, Kayden and Braylon Mulkey, three brothers, Bill Crunkleton, Gene Crunkleton, and Jeffrey Crunkleton, a sister, Tracy Richards, and by a number of nieces and nephews.  

The Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Graveside at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.

The following gentlemen, all members of the immediate family, will serve as pallbearers, Bryan Mulkey, Zach Mulkey, Mason Long, Cooper Long, Will Crunkleton, and Chad Crunkleton.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home. Flowers are optional and those who wish can make a memorial contribution to the Power of Hope, P.O. Box 286, Lavonia, Georgia 30553, in memory of Mrs. Charlotte Crunkleton Mulkey.
