Jackie Braswell Black

Jackie Braswell Black, age 79, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Junior Black; parents, Golden and Lorraine Roper Braswell; brothers-in-law, Winfred Buice and Shelley Bailey. Mrs. Black is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Skip Head, Lawrenceville; sons and daughters-in-law, Reggie and Toni Black, Lawrenceville, and Randy and Heather Black, Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Zach and Megan Black, Zane Black, Katie Black, Kallie Black, Kassie Black, Kamie Black, and Charli Grace Head; great grandchildren, Kinsler Black, Brandon Black, and Jace Black; sisters, Jean Braswell Buice, Lawrenceville, and Jan Braswell Bailey, Winterville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Runette Braswell, Helen, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Black was born on January 24, 1939 in Lawrenceville, GA. She was a 1958 graduate of Suwanee High School in Suwanee, GA. Mrs. Black was a homemaker and she was a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home. Mrs. Black requested no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fun-Club FriendsUneed.org in memory of Jackie Braswell Black.
