Perin Leah Rigby Stowers

Perin Leah Rigby Stowers, 54 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday May 29, 2018 at her residence.

Born in Oxford, Mississippi, Perin had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was employed at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center as a CT Technician for 18 years, and also worked for The Longstreet Clinic/ OB-GYN as an Ultra Sound Technician for 17 years. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School Class of 1982, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville. 

Survivors include her husband of 21 years, Scott Stowers, Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Aransa Wood, Gainesville; grandson, Hayden Wood, Gainesville; daughter, Leah Stowers, Gainesville; parents, Dottie and The Rev. Cliff L. Rigby, Gainesville; sister and brother-in-law, Tracy and David Caldwell, Gainesville; nephew, Jeremy Caldwell, Gainesville and nieces, Stephanie D'Cruz, Tigard, Oregon; Sarah Harrison, Lula.

Memorial services will be held Friday June 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville.  Rev. Lee Koontz, Rev. Shon Peppers, Rev. Mike Stowers and Rev. Matt Stowers will officiate.  The family will receive friends in Swetenburg Hall after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to pancreatic cancer research at www.pancan.org in memory of Perin.
