Sherri Lynne Risley Chesebro born on November 15, 1960 in Edwards Air Force Base in California left to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at home surrounded by her family from a short battle with cancer.
She graduated from Brookfield Central School in 1979. She was married to Paul E. Chesebro, Jr. and had 2 daughters Paula Marchelle and Hailey Spencer. Sherri loved her beach vacations with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen & Janice Ann Burch Risley; brothers, Hank Risley and Robert Risley.
Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Paula & Jon Bennett and Hailey & Trent Wall; grandchildren, Jackson Bennett, Peyton Bennett, Jase Bennett, Brock Wall and Mila Rose Wall; sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie & Jerry Putnam, Valerie Muse, Colleen & Dexter Dye, Karen & Kyle McReynolds; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Scott Doster officiating. Interment will follow in Demorest City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
