Irene Eubanks Franklin

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Irene Eubanks Franklin, age 83 of Commerce, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, May 19, 2018.  Mrs. Franklin was born in Tucker, Georgia a daughter of the late James and Grace Johnson Eubanks, was a homemaker and a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church in Commerce.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Franklin is preceded by two sisters, Janet Eubanks and Louise Hayes, brother J.C. Eubanks and her husband Clarence Everett Franklin.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn Franklin and his wife Nell of Loganville, and Charles Franklin of Commerce.  Two daughters Edith Wages and her husband Gibson of Dacula and Jane Franklin of Commerce.  Sister, Lamar Maddox of Cleveland and a brother, William Eubanks of Buford.  Twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Byers officiating with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Duluth, Georgia.  Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Alex Franklin, Curtis Franklin, Jeremy Self, Eddie Dean Smith, Jack Miller and Drew Franklin.  The family will receive friends, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 21, 2018 at the funeral home.
