Beauty Helen Trimiar King, age 86 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018.
Born in Banks County, Georgia on May 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Reece & B.L. Williams Trimiar. Mrs. King was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Demorest. She enjoyed daily Bible reading and spent many years in full time ministry preaching to others about God’s Kingdom. Mrs. King was affectionately known as “NaNa” to her grandchildren and many others. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, yard work, walking, and was infamous for her “Beauty Fried Chicken.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. King, and daughter, Gwendolyn Cofield.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, children, Jerry & Jaci King of Mt. Airy, GA; Geneva & Garry Chisolm of Charleston, SC; Barbara King & Milous Nails of Demorest, GA; Dale King, David & Zenaida King, all of Cornelia, GA; sister, Betty Jo Faison of Queen Creek, AZ; grandchildren, LaSonya Simmons, Pamela Orsborn, both of Cornelia, GA; LaTonya Rivera of Mt. Airy, GA; Tanya Rucker of Cornelia, Ga; Ashley Chisolm of Summerville, SC; Edes King of Lula, GA; Travis Joseph of Mt. Airy, GA; Tamara Christie of Flowery Branch, GA; Jalen King of Cornelia, GA; 18 great-grandchildren; a host of great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Demorest with Kenneth Temple officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday.
