Evelyn Burel Key

Evelyn Burel Key, age 89, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son, Dave Key; husband of sixty-nine years, Harold Key; parents, Melvin and Leila Sloan Burel; brother, Troy Burel; sisters, Hazel Burel Odom and Mildred Burel.  Mrs. Key is survived by children, Linda and Ralph Revis, Flowery Branch, Doyle and Charlotte Key, Buford, and Dennis Key, Buford; ten grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Barbara and Fred Banks, Hoschton, GA; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Key, Buford, Dessie Mae Boggs, Hoschton, Bernice Boggs, Hoschton, Shirley (J. W.) Frachiseur, Buford; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mrs. Key was born on April 24, 1929 in Buford, GA. She was a 1947 graduate of Dacula High School in Dacula, GA. Mrs. Key was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, 3878 Braselton Hwy, Buford, GA, with Rev Mike Landress officiating. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
