Ralph E. Hardie, age 66, of Duluth, GA passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marion Johnson Hardie; and brother, Michael Hardie. Mr. Hardie is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Kim Foltz Hardie, Duluth, GA; sons, Brent Hardie, Duluth, GA, and Ryan (Annie) Hardie, Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Lex Hardie, Eli Hardie, and Harrison Hardie, father; John Hardie, San Diego, CA; brothers, William (Karen) Hardie, San Diego, CA, John (Janet) Hardie, Michigan, James (Della) Hardie, San Diego, CA; sisters, Gail (Robert) Weed, San Diego, CA, JoAnn (Gus) Connelly, San Diego, CA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Hardie was born on October 6, 1951 in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He was a 1969 graduate of James Madison High School, and a 1973 graduate of the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree. Mr. Hardie was employed with Atlanta Classic Cars as Sales Manager for the past four years, and he had also worked for several Chevrolet dealerships in the metro Atlanta area. Mr. Hardie was a member of Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, Peachtree Corners, GA as well as a member of the church Men’s Club. He was an avid golfer, tennis player, and UGA Bulldog fan. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 6260 Corners Parkway, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092, with Father Darragh Griffith serving as the celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Flanigan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society in memory of Ralph Hardie.
