Thomas Buckner, Sr., age 72 of Maysville, GA (formerly of Lynn Haven, FL) passed away Friday, May 11th, 2018 at Brookside Assisted Living.
Mr. Buckner was born September 23rd, 1945 in Panama City, FL to the late James and Marnie Nell Jones Buckner. He was of the Baptist faith and was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was Vice President of Merchant State Bank in Dallas, Texas and a proud entrepreneur and business owner, having started his own landscaping company: Buckner Brothers Landscaping, he retired from the Work Force Center Gulf Coast in Panama City. In addition to his parents, Mr. Buckner was predeceased by a brother, Ronnie Buckner.
He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Buckner of Maysville, GA; son, Roy Cisneros (Annette) of Palmer, TX, a daughter, Cindy Stewart (Greg) of Maysville, GA, and son, Tommy Buckner, Jr. (Jennifer) of Tuscumbia, AL; five loving grandchildren: Kierstan, Jordan, Lauren, Brayden, and Landon; brothers, Don Buckner of Phoenix, AZ, Bruce Buckner of Pine Top, AZ, Keith Buckner (Cyd) of Lynn Haven, FL, Kenny Buckner (Becky) of South Carolina, and Jimmy Buckner (Crystal) of Panama City, FL, as well as a sister, Debbie Buckner of Panama City, FL. Numerous nieces and nephews survive as well.
Memorial Services will be held later in Panama City, Florida.
