Mrs. Doris Williams Pritchett, age 83 of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at her residence.
A daughter of the late William “Bill” Williams, Sr. and Pearl Duvall Williams, she was born April 11, 1935 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived in Toccoa and Cleveland for most of her life. She was a Deputy Warden of Administration with the Department of Corrections and was of the Southern Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Pritchett in 1998, a son, Eddie Pritchett in 1989, granddaughter, Dori Corbin, two sisters, Vera Turner and Lottie Stowe and by two brothers, Bill Williams, Jr. and John Williams.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sheree and Keith Gravenhorst of Gainesville, Georgia; granddaughter, Christa and Robert Preville; great-grandchildren, Corbin and Doran Preville.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Roger Whiten officiating.
