Margie Trammell Lord

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Margie Trammell Lord, age 83 of Statham, Georgia who entered into rest Saturday, May 12, 2018.  Mrs. Lord was born in Talmo, Georgia, a daughter of the late Willie Oscar Trammell and the late Ruby Jarrett Trammell.  Mrs. Lord attended Jefferson Church, was a homemaker and in addition to her parents is preceded in death by her husband Worth “Pug” Lord.

Survivors include two sons, Wendell Evans and his wife Shirley of Statham, and Jeffrey Evans of Statham.  One sister, Mary Luke of Bogart.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Mobley officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.  The family will receive friends, 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday, May 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
