Hazel Martin

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 16, 2018 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for Hazel Helen Martin age 72 of Lula. The Rev. Eric Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Martin passed away Friday May 11, 2018.

Mrs. Martin was born in Madison County, GA to the late Ed Williamson and Wynell McGinnis Williamson. She had worked for Whitehead Die Casting and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lee Martin, son, Johnny Martin, granddaughter, Judy Lynn Griggs brothers, Horace Williamson, Mack Williamson, and Howard Williamson.

Survivors include daughter, Judy Smith, Lula, daughter and son-in-law, Kelley and Chip Brown, Sparta, brother and sister-in-law, Hank and Becky Williamson, Jefferson, aunt, Francis McGinnis, Jefferson, grandchildren, Justin and Haley Smith, Lula, Jennifer and Jim Frazier, Lula, great grandchildren, Charley Dollins, Jacey Dollins, Luke Griggs, Austin Brown, Lane Brown, Bethany Teal, Landen Griggs, Kayden Smith, Caleb Frazier, Mason Frazier, Corey Frazier, Tiara Ervin, Daniel Frazier, 4 great great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
